THE 2009 DIVERSITY IMMIGRANT VISA PROGRAM (DV-2009)
Each year the Diversity Immigrant Visa Program makes available permanent resident visas to persons meeting the eligibility requirements. Applicants for diversity visas, who are initially chosen through a random computer-generated lottery drawing, must demonstrate that they have either a high school education or its equivalent or two years of work experience within the past five years in an occupation requiring at least two years of training or experience.
The application submission period (October 3-December 2, 2007) for DV-2008 is now over.
