NASA To Host International Space University Summer Session, March 9, 2007
NASA announced March 7 that its Ames Research Center in California will host the 2009 International Space University
(ISU) Summer Session Program, an intensive nine-week course of study in subjects ranging from engineering and physical sciences to
satellite applications and policy.
The university, based in Illkirch-Graffenstaden near Strasbourg, France, was established in 1987 to promote the peaceful study,
exploration and development of space for the benefit of all people. (...)

2008 AIDS Relief Budget Request Tops Original Commitment, March 8, 2007
President Bush has asked the U.S. Congress to approve $5.4 billion for his President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR)
for fiscal year 2008 (2008-2009), the last year of the five-year effort to fight HIV/AIDS around the world.
If that funding is approved, the PEPFAR program – the largest commitment by a single nation to an international health initiative
– would be on track to exceed the original $15 billion pledge and bring to $18.3 billion the amount of money the United States has

Millennium Aid Funding Achieving Results, Official Says, March 13, 2007

channeled toward such country priorities as improvements to sanitation and irrigation systems, and providing microloans to
women entrepreneurs.

U.S. Prepared to Work with All Iraq's Neighbors, Envoy Says, March 10, 2007
U.S. Ambassador to Iraq Zalmay Khalilzad confirmed the United States' willingness to work with any nation that supports the goal
of a secure, stable and democratic Iraq during the March 10 Iraq Neighbors Conference in Baghdad. The conference brought
together representatives from all of Iraq's neighbors, including Iran and Syria.
“There should be no exclusivity when it comes to harnessing regional and international support for Iraq,” Khalilzad told
