La trasformazione delle scoperte scientifiche in prodotti di mercato è particolarmente
importante per sviluppare la competitività e promuovere la crescita
economica basata su innovazione ed alta tecnologia. (...)

Georgetown University To Partner in Afghanistan Outreach, December 4, 2006

On December 6, the Iraq Study Group will present its report to President Bush,
the U.S. Congress and the American people.
A press conference is scheduled for December 6. As coordinator of the Iraq Study Group's activities over the last eight months, the U.S. Institute of Peace is pleased to announce that a PDF copy of the report will be available for download on this Web site at 11:00 AM EST, Wednesday, December 6, 2006. Since Hamas, which Israel and the United States consider a terrorist group, won the January 2006 Palestinian parliamentary elections, however, the situation has beencomplicated.
Israeli officials offered ideas for unilateral disengagement from more of the West Bank, but not a fully developed plan. The U.S. Administration and others have urged them to negotiate first, but agree that Hamas is not a negotiating partner.
