Chef Louisa Shafia visits Villa Taverna Orto

Louisa Shafia, a well-known New York sustainable chef and author of the award-winning book “Lucid Food: Cooking for an Eco-Conscious Life”, followed the wife of Ambassador Thorne, Mrs. Rose Thorne, on a tour of the vegetable garden of Villa Taverna, at the official Ambassador’s residence in Rome.
Louisa praised the initiative because it promotes healthy eating habits, and explained how eco-conscious cooking improves people’s health and earth sustainability.
