Parole

Advance Parole Documents

If you have lost or are not in possession of the unexpired Advance Parole Document that was issued to you prior to your departure from the United States, and need a replacement document, please make an appointment on InfoPass to visit the USCIS Rome District Office.

Humanitarian Parole

Applications for humanitarian parole may be filed by mail with the USCIS International Operations Division. Applications should be mailed to:

20 Massachusetts Avenue, NW, Suite 3300
Washington, DC 20529

All applicants are required to be fingerprinted, using form FD258. Fingerprints can be taken at U.S. Embassies or Consulates. Instructions on how to file an application for Humanitarian Parole are located on Form I-131. Parole into the United States may be granted temporarily on a case-by-case basis for urgent humanitarian reasons or significant public benefit.
