The Foreign Agricultural Service's Rome office represents the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) in Italy. Working from the U.S. Embassy in Rome, our mission is to promote the sale of American food and agricultural, fishery, and forestry products in Italy, Malta, and Albania. We provide information and other trade services to U.S. agricultural companies seeking to export their products as well as to local companies wishing to import U.S. products. We also provide information to travelers interested in taking food or other agricultural products to the United States or in transporting their pets or other animals to the United States.
